Colonizers have been saying this to us for centuries. “This is shared knowledge” However, when it is western knowledge, you are too happy to run to the patent office. This is just a justification of western thievery upon which your civilization is built. Appropriators of Indic knowledge have made millions. There is no credit given to the source of the knowledge. When the knowledge is from Greek sources, you are happy to give credit to them. Have you ever heard of Pannini, Aurobindo or Vivekananda? I guess not. They were great Indic philosophers who made mammoth contributions to the field of psychology. Don’t you think we should be hearing about them? We only hear about Jung, Wilber, James, Wundt and Freud. Did you know that these westerners stood on the shoulders of Indic giants who remain unacknowledged to this day.
